The tar.bz2 is useful for people using NFS or generating the SD card
image byhand, those can enable this in the board file or in the
local.conf when needed. By default the SD card image should be the
only image built as it is the most commonly used one for initial
development.

The linux-imx.inc based kernels now can dynamically provide the
Vivante kernel driver and satisfy the runtime dependency added for the
Vivante GPU user space libraries. The beauty of this solution is that
it makes ease for 3rd party kernel to reuse the same infrastructure
and use the external module easily.

FILESPATH is in part built by using MACHINEOVERRIDES and the path
is built working right to left. Use =. instead of .= to prepend
(e6500-64b:qoriq-ppc) to (soc:board).
Take t2080rdb-64b as example, change from:
FILESOVERRIDES="powerpc64:t2:t2080:t2080rdb-64b:qoriq-ppc:e6500-64b:poky"
MACHINEOVERRIDES="t2:t2080:t2080rdb-64b:qoriq-ppc:e6500-64b"
To:
FILESOVERRIDES="powerpc64:e6500-64b:qoriq-ppc:t2:t2080:t2080rdb-64b:poky"
MACHINEOVERRIDES="e6500-64b:qoriq-ppc:t2:t2080:t2080rdb-64b"

The Linux kernel provided by Freescale for i.MX28 and i.MX5 is too old
(2.6.35.3) and there are no plans to upgrade it, as the OE-Core is
going to use GCC 5.2 as default compiler soon and it is not possible
to compile this kernel with the new toolchain, thus the removal.
The metadata related to the i.MX23, i.MX28 and i.MX5 SoC family, which
is dependant of this Linux kernel support, has been removed in this
commit so if someone ever wants to bring it back it is easy to find
out all the necessary changes. The recipes affected are:
- alsa-state
- amd-gpu-x11-bin
- gtk+3
- imx-lib
- imx-test
- imx-vpu
- libfslcodec
- linux-imx
- mesa
- qt4-embedded-free
- qt4-x11-free
- qtbase
- xf86-video-imxfb

The QorIQ version of openssl needs to use another recipe name and have
a common provider, which is than choosen for QorIQ-based machines.
The recipe is now called 'openssl-qoriq' and it provides openssl so
the preferrence is set just for QorIQ based machines.

Add the mx7 settings for U-boot, MACHINE and DEFAULT_TUNE.
MX7 is a new i.MX SoC Family created with the 3.14.28-7D_alpha release
and upstreamed with the 3.14.38-6QP_beta release.
i.MX 7Dual is a CortexA7 ARM core so requires different DEFAULT_TUNE
however it does build with the cortexa9 but not as optimized as it is with
the cortexa7 toolchain.

As the codec support, for GStreamer, has been removed from master
branch there is no reason to keep using the old kernel for i.MX28
anymore. This moves it for the Linux FSLC fork which bases on
mainline.

The i.MX31 and i.MX35 has been barely used and without much community
coverage since its inclusion making them untested boards.
There is no reason to keep the support for those SoCs in the BSP layer
as those are virtually not tested and unkown to be working or not.
The metadata related to the i.MX3 SoC family has been removed in this
commit so if someone ever wants to bring it back it is easy to find
out all the necessary changes.
