| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Emacs is for obvious reasons one of the most important and powerful editors, being the first program released by the GNU project and being maintained for many years. Its not the obvious choice when being used on a small or resource constrained device, but, on this recipe I was able to split it into three different packages to fit different needs for those who decide to use it, the emacs-minimal package would install a working emacs requiring around 2 MB of storage space, the emacs-base package includes some themes, syntax highlighting for some of the most used programming languages, as well as some extra functionality like a working shell, requiring less than 5 MB, which should work for a wide spectrum of workflows, and lasty, the emacs-full package contains the a fully working emacs using around 30 MB of space trading off size for functionality. This recipe also uses BBCLASSEXTEND=native to build some tools that emacs itself requires to build for target, but does not build a full native emacs since that is not necessary. This allows things like "SELECT 1 WHERE EXISTS (subquery)" kinds of queries to be used as well as other use cases. - sqlite: Applied a sweep through all included dialects to ensure names that contain single or double quotes are properly escaped when querying system tables, for all Inspector methods that accept object names as an argument (e.g. table names, view names, etc). SQLite and MSSQL contained two quoting issues that were repaired. - mssql: Fixed bug where the mssql dialect incorrectly escaped object names that contained ‘]’ character(s). - Added a **kw argument to the DeclarativeMeta.__init__() method. This allows a class to support the PEP 487 metaclass hook __init_subclass__.
