* ne10: set incompatible for armv7 without neonBenjamin Bara2023-08-291-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | ne10 requires NEON[1], therefore set incompatible for incompatible machines. In this case, don't depend on it in libopus, as it is optional anyways. * libxkbui: remove obsolete recipeRoss Burton2023-07-101-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | The only known consumer of this library was the xorgcfg utility, which was disabled by default in xorg-server 1.4 (Sep. 2007) and removed in xorg-server 1.6 (Feb. 2009). Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
* xsetmode: remove obsolete utilityRoss Burton2023-07-101-1/+0
| | | | | | | | This hasn't seen any upstream activity since 2017, as users should be using xinput --set-mode instead. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
* liblbxutil: remove obsolete libraryRoss Burton2023-07-101-1/+0

* *.patch: add Upstream-Status to all patchesMartin Jansa2023-06-215-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There is new patch-status QA check in oe-core: https://git.openembedded.org/openembedded-core/commit/?id=76a685bfcf927593eac67157762a53259089ea8a This is temporary work around just to hide _many_ warnings from optional patch-status (if you add it to WARN_QA). This just added Upstream-Status: Pending everywhere without actually investigating what's the proper status. This is just to hide current QA warnings and to catch new .patch files being added without Upstream-Status, but the number of Pending patches is now terrible: 5 (26%) meta-xfce 6 (50%) meta-perl 15 (42%) meta-webserver 21 (36%) meta-gnome 25 (57%) meta-filesystems 26 (43%) meta-initramfs 45 (45%) meta-python 47 (55%) meta-multimedia 312 (63%) meta-networking 756 (61%) meta-oe Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
* uutils-coreutils: upgrade 0.0.18 -> 0.0.19Etienne Cordonnier2023-06-072-336/+354
| | | | | | | | Note: the removal of "name=XXX" in the crates.inc file is normal and due to a change in cargo-update-recipe-crates.bbclass in poky. Signed-off-by: Etienne Cordonnier <ecordonnier@snap.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>

* dbus-cxx: upgrade 2.3.1 -> 2.4.0Wang Mingyu2023-05-252-33/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 0001-Include-missing-cstdint.patch removed since it's included in 2.4.0 Changelog: ========== - Add ability to switch between big/little endianess for messages. This is to support implementations such as sd-bus where handling perfectly valid messages in big-endian format is apparently too difficult - Fix extracting certain deeply nested messages with maps - Various other compile fixes Signed-off-by: Wang Mingyu <wangmy@fujitsu.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>

* hiredis: add ptestPeter Bergin2023-05-231-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Use internal test from hiredis project as ptest. If ptest is in DISTRO_FEATURES tests are enabled default but can be handled individually through PACKAGECONFIG. Test config 'testssl' requires 'ssl' option but is not enabled default as the redis recipe does not build it with ssl support. Tested on qemux86_64 and qemuarm64. * libburn: move to meta-filesystemsRoss Burton2023-05-091-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | This recipe is very much in the remit of meta-filesystems, so move the recipe and update it. It ships a cdrecord wrapper so inherit lib_package, and the license is GPLv2 or later not GPLv2 only, for example: https://dev.lovelyhq.com/libburnia/libburn/src/branch/master/libburn/source.c Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
* glfw: respect DISTRO_FEATURES when enabling x11 in default PACKAGECONFIG and ↵Martin Jansa2023-05-031-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | return it to REQUIRED_DISTRO_FEATURES x11 was recently removed from REQUIRED_DISTRO_FEATURES but it should still respect x11 in DISTRO_FEATURES, now this causes: ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'libxi' (but meta-oe/recipes-core/glfw/glfw_3.3.bb DEPENDS on or otherwise requires it) libxi was skipped: missing required distro feature 'x11' (not in DISTRO_FEATURES) ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'libxinerama' (but meta-oe/recipes-core/glfw/glfw_3.3.bb DEPENDS on or otherwise requires it) libxinerama was skipped: missing required distro feature 'x11' (not in DISTRO_FEATURES) ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'libxrandr' (but meta-oe/recipes-core/glfw/glfw_3.3.bb DEPENDS on or otherwise requires it) libxrandr was skipped: missing required distro feature 'x11' (not in DISTRO_FEATURES) ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'libglu' (but meta-oe/recipes-core/glfw/glfw_3.3.bb DEPENDS on or otherwise requires it) libglu was skipped: missing required distro feature 'x11' (not in DISTRO_FEATURES) ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'libxcursor' (but meta-oe/recipes-core/glfw/glfw_3.3.bb DEPENDS on or otherwise requires it) libxcursor was skipped: missing required distro feature 'x11' (not in DISTRO_FEATURES) when wayland and opengl are in DISTRO_FEATURES, but x11 isn't. REQUIRED_DISTRO_FEATURES is satisfied by "opengl" and ANY_OF_DISTRO_FEATURES by "wayland", but the default PACKAGECONFIG doesn't match with that. Also move libglu to x11 PACKAGECONFIG, because that also has x11 in REQUIRED_DISTRO_FEATURES. Return x11 to REQUIRED_DISTRO_FEATURES because even with this change it still fails to build without x11 in DISTRO_FEATURES, so until wayland support is resolved it does require x11 to build, otherwise fails with: glfw/3.3+gitAUTOINC+781fbbadb0-r0/recipe-sysroot-native/usr/share/cmake-3.25/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:230 (message): | Could NOT find X11 (missing: X11_X11_INCLUDE_PATH X11_X11_LIB) Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
* glfw: add packageconfig and wayland dependenciesRandolph Sapp2023-04-281-2/+12
| | | | | | | | | GLFW has the ability to use a wayland backend. This patch adds a config for it, but does not enable it by default because it has a dependency on extra-cmake-modules which is provided (most commonly) by meta-qt5-extra. * uutils-coreutils: disable musl supportEtienne Cordonnier2023-04-061-0/+5
| | | | | | | | musl is not supported because the libc crate does not support functions like "endutxent" at the moment, so src/uucore/src/lib/features.rs disables utmpx when targetting musl. Signed-off-by: Etienne Cordonnier <ecordonnier@snap.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>

* uutils-coreutils: Add crates checksumEtienne Cordonnier2023-04-061-267/+538
| | | | | | | | | Commit 93d691d58c1c43 did not add the crates checksum (even though the commit message says it did), and the crates fetcher is now failing with "No checksum specified". Signed-off-by: Etienne Cordonnier <ecordonnier@snap.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
* recipes: Remove double protocol= from SRC_URIsPeter Kjellerstedt2023-04-052-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | With the exception of paho-mqtt-cpp, the double protocol= attributes were added to the SRC_URIs when protocol=https was added to all SRC_URIs fetching from github.com in commit b402a3076f (recipes: Update SRC_URI branch and protocols). * meta-oe-ptest*-image: enable BBCLASSEXTEND parallel executionTim Orling2023-04-023-1/+68
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Similar to "core-image-ptest: Switch to BBCLASSEXTEND parallel execution" Refactor meta-oe-ptest-image.bb for an image per ptest in the form of meta-oe-ptest-image-XXX using class extensions. * Add meta-oe-ptest-all-image.bb depends on ALL meta-oe-ptest-image-XXX in meta-oe * Add meta-oe-ptest-fast-image.bb depends on meta-oe ptests which take less than ~30s This allows parallel execution of the tests. The downside to this approach is the parsing time of an image generating this number of class extensions is slow but making it easier to execute and collect test data should outweigh that. A useful advantage is that the dependencies of each ptest package are checked/tested individually. Add to local.conf: IMAGE_CLASSES += "testimage" All the meta-oe-ptest-image-XXX can be built with: $ bitbake meta-oe-ptest-all-image Subsequently, all the ptest images can be run with: $ bitbake -c testimage meta-oe-ptest-all-image You will likely want to limit the number of parallel image tests: BB_NUMBER_THREADS = "4" based on the number of TAP devices you have defined or the number of simultaneous QEMU sessions your server can support. Results can be summarized with: $ resulttool report tmp/log/oeqa/testresult.json Signed-off-by: Tim Orling <tim.orling@konsulko.com> Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
