Default ld on OE could be either gold/bfd/lld, here its assuming ld to
ld.bfd which is not right assumption when it really should ask for BFD
linker since its relying on its options
see src/ply/Makefile.am

if available, making them much more reliable.

This patch updates SRC_URIs using git to include branch=master if no branch is set
and also to use protocol=https for github urls as generated by the conversion script
in OE-Core.

Ply is a light-weight eBPF tool which compiles ply script or one-liner
to Linux BPF programs and attaches to kprobes and tracepoints. It
doesn't require external dependencies except libc, so it's very friendly
for embedded system usage.
This patch adds the recipe to support ply building for git version.
